Privacy statement.
Last updated: 2 July 2026
This statement explains how Felicitea handles personal data on this website (drinkfelicitea.com). We keep it short on purpose — the site collects little, and only what you choose to send us.
Who we are
Felicitea B.V., based in the Netherlands. For privacy-related questions or requests, reach us at hello@drinkfelicitea.com.
What we collect
We collect personal data in three places, always because you chose to send it:
1. Contact form
- Your name and email address, so we can reply.
- A subject category (e.g. wholesale, media) to route your message.
- The message itself.
2. Launch list
If you sign up for launch news we store your email address with our email provider (Resend) until you unsubscribe or shortly after the launch announcement. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails, or by emailing us.
If you also share a postcode or city when signing up (optional), we store it alongside your signup and use it only to decide where Felicitea should launch first — including sharing aggregated counts per area (never your email address) with potential retail partners. It is deleted on the same schedule as the launch list.
3. Wholesale form
- Your company name, country and type of business.
- Optionally a VAT / KvK number, your role and phone number.
- Your name, email address, an estimated monthly volume and your message.
We run no user accounts and no e-commerce on this site, so there is nothing else to collect.
Why and on what basis
Contact-form and launch-list data are processed on the basis of consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR/AVG): you actively choose to send the form, and you can withdraw at any time — for launch news via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing us. Wholesale-form data is processed to take steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (art. 6(1)(b)).
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers to make the site work. Each only sees what it needs to do its job.
- Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosts the website. Sees your IP address and request headers, as any web host does. Vercel processes this under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Resend Inc. (USA) — sends all email from this site (contact, wholesale and launch-list messages) and stores the launch-list contacts, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- OpenStreetMap Foundation (EU) — when you use the postcode search on Where to buy, your search term and IP address are sent to OpenStreetMap (Nominatim geocoder). Map tiles are loaded directly from OpenStreetMap to your browser.
- Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights— cookieless, aggregated metrics (pageviews, performance). Per Vercel's documentation, no personal identifiers are collected.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no tracking cookies. The only browser-side storage we use is purely functional:
intro-seen— remembers that you have already seen the intro overlay, so you don't see it on every visit.ig-seen-stories— remembers which Instagram stories you have already viewed, so unread ones can be highlighted.felicitea_preview— a functional cookie used only while the site is behind the pre-launch gate; it holds an opaque access token and tracks nothing.
The localStorage values never leave your device, and the preview cookie identifies no person. You can clear both from your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep your data
Contact-form messages are kept in our inbox until the matter is resolved, and then for up to 24 months for follow-up. Launch-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe (after that we keep only a do-not-email marker so we never email you again), and the whole list is deleted no later than three months after the launch announcement. Wholesale inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a customer relationship follows. After that we delete the data, unless we are legally required to keep it longer (e.g. accounting obligations).
Your rights
Under the GDPR / AVG you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
- correct inaccurate data,
- request deletion of your data,
- restrict or object to processing,
- data portability where applicable,
- withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@drinkfelicitea.com. We respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly and we have not resolved your concern, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
